Positive results for Trust following recent survey
The Board heard that 138 members had responded, over 15 per cent of the membership, and had given a firm endorsement to the way that the Trust operates and some clear guidance on future priorities.
The vast majority (83 per cent) believe that the cost of Trust membership is about right and 74 per cent are happy with the open transparent style of the Trust.
For the future it was clear that the steps taken to update the Trust website are important as only 18 per cent of members visit on a regular basis
The most important priority for non-statutory expenditure was for the purchasing of shares.
The results, along with the sheer number of positive comments about the Trust and the time and quality of the effort put in by Trust Board members show that a significant majority of members are positive in their support.
A small working group was established to come back to the Board within the next two meetings with recommendations to address the concerns of those that feel otherwise so that they to have confidence in the Trust Board
In a packed meeting the Trust Board also discussed the appointment of a new secretary, arrangements and contents for the 2010 calendar and the Autumn newsletter.
They also talked over their sponsorship of the Trust Suite, Andy Hutchinson and the Youth Team kit with the intentions of either a cheque presentations to be made on the pitch or in the Trust Suite.
Also on the table was the forthcoming Gold Members meeting on October 3 and the Gold member's cheque presentation to the Club.
Also future events such as the Trust's 125 Dinner on October 22 and Fans Forums for the coming season in Lincoln, Sleaford and Newark were talked over.
Finally the meeting looked at establishing a Trust Youth Section with input into the Trust Board.
