Victory hit 12 against Claytons

Victory Athletic, from Lincoln Sunday League Division Four, reached their second semi-final of the season with an incredible 12-1 demolition of Lincoln Claytons in the Fred Quibell Cup.

Among the goalscorers, Danny Kent netted seven times with Ricky Greensmith also grabbing a hat-trick.

Their reward is a tie at Plough Sturton, who edged past North Lindum Hawks, 1-0.

Andrew Callaghan scored all the goals for Division Three side Dynamo Varsity in their 3-0 victory over Horse & Jockey, from Division Six. They will play the winner of Welton FC and GE Rustons Reserves, who had Jarret Akpoveta to thank for an extra-time winner in a 4-3 scoreline.

Sleaford Raiders complete the Ron Eaglen semi final line-up after a 6-3 victory over Harby United. Jamie Slater led the way with a hat-trick to set up a tough clash against Ruston Sports next weekend.

GE Rustons celebrated a year unbeaten in the Premier Division with a hard fought 3-2 win over FSC Victory. Martin Goldacre, Jason Tinkler and Jack McGovern each scored for the league leaders as a Gaz Symonds penalty and an own goal for Victory set up a tense finish.

Lee Johnson's hat-trick helped Hunters Leap beat in-form FVA Jerusalem 5-2 to go third. Adelaide came back strongly from two goals down against Anglers FC as a Dean Szendrey hat-trick and a brace from Olly Burrows made the final score 5-2.

Two goals for Rob Kinsella plus one from Daniel Melton saw Swan Athletic beat Ruston Sports, for whom Karl Hutchinson scored twice.

Pohkin Cheung and Gary Ullyatt gave Metheringham a slender 2-1 victory over Gatehouse while Scothern beat FCW Burtons by the same scoreline.

Goals from Danny Hicks and Dean Walling helped AFC Hykeham pull back a three-goal deficit to hold Moorlands Railway to a 3-3 draw in Division One.

South Clifton moved into second place with a 3-1 win over Sporting Lincoln while four goals from Michael Ward helped St Helens thump Nettleham 8-2.

Game of the day in Division Two saw St Giles lose 4-3 at home to Horncastle Town.

This left the door open for Bailgate Athletic to move to the top as a Graham Mitchell hat-trick paved the way for a 4-0 success at Branston.

Sean Cann's four goals was the highlight of Ivy Tavern's 6-0 rout of FVA Jerusalem Reserves, which kept them top of Division Three.

North Scarle continue to impress as their 3-1 victory over FCW Burtons saw them go third.

Welton S&SC Reserves got back to winning ways with a close 2-1 win over Woodhall Spa while Heighington's 4-0 victory over Red Lion Dunston saw them remain second.

Newton United stay third after Craig Lill's hat-trick was the difference in a 4-1 scoreline against Newtoft Terriers.

The game between the top two in Division Five went all the way as an Andy Hague header at the death gave Dunholme Lord Nelson a narrow 4-3 success over Railway Inn Thorpe.

Evolution were in the goals as they defeated beat Metalhead Town 8-1, with Stuart Spring bagging four.

Grant Foster's fourth hat-trick of the season gave Division Six leaders Travellers Rest a share of the points in their 3-3 draw with AFC Cross.

AFC Rustons, who are second, defeated Welton 3-1.
