Burch backs super Somma
The 24-year-old joined the Imps on a month's loan from Leeds United last month and scored on his debut in the 1-1 draw against Crewe Alexandra at Sincil Bank.
The South African followed that performance up with a superb performance, alongside Drewe Broughton at table-toppers Rochdale and has been described as having 'frightening' ability by City's number one.
"Davide's finishing is frightening, it is on a whole different level," said the former Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper.
"The pace and power he gets behind the ball is superb and when a chance comes, I am sure that he will take it.
"That is what you want from your strikers."
Somma has formed a productive partnership with the experienced Broughton.
The former Boston striker is also on loan at Lincoln and his unselfish work has prompted manager Chris Sutton to admit he would be willing to take the 31-year-old for a longer period.
"Drewe works really hard, does a lot of running and gets his body in there," said Burch.
"Drewe and Davide have done well since they have been at the club.
"They can create something out of nothing."
