Trust profiles


OVERVIEW The Trust Board is made up of 15 members. Nine members are elected – Lissie Wilkins, Chris Ashton, Kevin Clayton, Mike Thompson, Steve Derbyshire, David Beck, Rick Keracher, Andy Townsend and Roy Noble. Six members are co-opted to complement the skills and expertise of the elected members.


Chair - Lissie Wilkins: As Chair of an Industrial and Provident Society, Lissie has to ensure that the Trust operates within the rules and guidelines adopted. She has to chair meetings, involve all Board members in decision making and make sure that decisions are implemented. She is the spokesperson for the trust when applicable. Lissie also chairs the AGM and Gold members meetings. She is still on the steering committees of the Goal and Playing For Success.


Vice Chair - Chris Ashton and Kevin Clayton: The role of a Vice Chair is to support the Chair in leading in leading the Trust Board, and ensure that it works within the legal and constitutional framework. The Vice Chair will also stand in as necessary for the Chair in meetings, and support the Chair in ensuring that the decisions of the Board are implemented. Chris acts as a signatory for Trust accounts, and arranges events linked to the Football Club. He acts as official liaison between the Football Club and the Red Imps Association, which he represents on the Trust Board. Kevin’s particular role is within the community work of the Trust. He is responsible for links with the local community, represents the Trust on the Safety Advisory Group and attends Football In The Community meetings.


Treasurer - Mike Thompson: Mike keeps records of the Trust accounts, and pays the bills. He makes sure we do not overspend. He prepares the accounts ready for the auditors.


Minute Secretary & Newsletter - Steve Derbyshire: As well as taking minutes at our meetings, Steve is responsible for the development and production of our twice yearly newsletter. He is also designing and producing the Trust Calendar. Steve is a member of the marketing and communications committee.


Supporter Director - David Beck: David attends Club Board meetings, and is fully involved with the decision making process of the Club Board. He reports to the Trust Board as far as confidentialities allow on matters and decisions pertaining to the Football Club. He is available to meet with members and other fans for discussions on LCFC.


Membership Secretary - Rick Keracher: Rick updates our database and sends out the necessary correspondence. He is working on a new website. Rick is a member of the PR team.


Supporter Liaison - Andy Townsend: Andy is responsible for the 3 C’s initiative, liaising with the Trust and the Club.


Business Administrator - Roy Noble: Roy will be developing our Business Plan based on the recent Member Survey. He will be offering secretarial support to our new Society Secretary.


Lincoln And District Football Supporters Club - Mike Pryor: Mike is the liaison between the Trust, the Club and LDFSC. As a past Club Director, he is in a position to offer advice when appropriate.


Gold Member Administrator – Jean Foster: Jean’s work with the Gold member Section of the Trust consists of two areas. She is the elected Gold Member Representative on the Board of Lincoln City Football Club and on behalf of the Trust Board she recruits and retains Gold members, organises Gold meetings, programme notes and arranges Boardroom visits for her members.


Chair Of Youth Projects - Geoff Wilkins: Geoff represents the Trust on the steering committees of the Goal, our Holiday Club, and Playing For Success. He reports to the Football In The Community Charitable Trust, as the Goal is part of this. He organises stadium tours for Fan of the Day and Junior Fan of the Day.


Chair Of PR, Marketing And Media - Rob Bradley: As Vice Chair of Supporters Direct, Rob keeps us up to date with all national developments. He is part of the PR team to project the Trust through the website, newsletters, local media and any Trust campaigns.


Marketing And Communication Committee - George Lee: George has responsibility for member and fan surveys, develops communication ideas, promotes member involvement and writes copy.


Youth Board Facilitator - Paul Kenton: Paul will run our new initiative, a Youth Board to represent all LCST members under 18. He will form the Board, advise it and promote all the activities.
