Hi,

Join me at Sincil Bank from about 2.30pm today when I will have the team-line ups for the Imps' game with Dagenham & Redbridge.
Then from 3pm, as the game gets underway, stay logged on to sportsecho.co.uk for up-to-the minute action.

Hello,
Welcome to sunny Sincil Bank for Lincoln City's first home league game of the season, against Dagenham & Redbridge.
The teams are in and there is one change for City, from the side that lost to Derby in the Carling Cup, with Frank Sinclair coming in to the side for his first start in the famous red and white stripes.
The former Chelsea defender replaces Lee Beevers who drops to the bench.

Lincoln: Burch, Green, Brown, Sinclair, Kovacs, N'Guessan, John-Lewis, Oakes, Kerr (c), Gall, Wright: Subs: Beevers, Frecklington, Graham, King, Duffy.

As for Dagenham, they line up as follows:

Roberts, Griffiths, Uddin, Arber, Okuonghae, Green, Gain, Taiwo, Saunders, Benson, Strevens. Subs: Southam, Nurse, Nwokeji, Patterson, Thompson (gk)

Hi Chris ......

Good to see Oakes fit, but still concerned that Freck is on the bench

Seeing Gainy in the starting X1 is a worry, as he usually plays well and scores (like most ex-players do) against us, so hopefully Kerr will keep him quiet.

3 pts is a must today, else all the pre-season optimism will begin to dwindle!

Breaking news: Frecklington is in as Oakes got injured in the warm-up. Pembleton moves up to the bench

Apparently, Oakes pulled up with a calf strain. Disappointing news for the Imps but a chance for Lee Frecklington to stake a claim in the side?

I was disappointed when Freck didnt start, because he has been playing well, its going to be hard to play brilliant passing without Oakes though.

Whats you're prediction for today Chris?

I think the Imps are due a bit of luck, especially now after the Oakes setback.
I think they will win 2-1 today, thanks to Wright and N'Guessan

Despite their win against Jester last week ....... we've got to be looking to beat teams like this surely? Hope the crowd gets behind the lads from the start

With ten minutes to go, Sincil Bank is filling up nicely, though as expected, there are only a smattering of fans that have made the journey from Dagenham.

Is It Very Noisy

We need to get behind the players today

It must be a shock for Gainy to have come back here.

They are trying to get the fans going, but as with most grounds, the roof doesn't usually lift off until the teams enter the pitch.
I think Jacko is going to get a big cheer

A minute's applause has just been observed for former Imps chairman and manager John Reames.
