At Notts the Trust get plenty of stick and it is not seen as in the best interests of the club that the Turst is ourt majority shareholder. Can the club move forward with this set up in place? |

Granted attendances have been down this season due to the dreadful form. But looking at the demographics, Lincoln and the surrounding catchment is a big area, and ever increasing. Do you think enough is done to try and entice people to Sincil Bank? I raise this concern as a university offer was announced for the Chester game and no advertisement was available on campus, only on our official wesbite. Charlton Athletic another community club, have many good bus offers, and transport to and from the ground, could this be another option to consider. We have alot of un discovered potential, and curious to know if things are in place to tap into this? |

They have a large disposable income and it would be good to get a few more people the gates. I know Boston United made an effort and in fact the away strip was based on the Portugese colours in an effort to attract the Portugese community. A scottish club, whose name escapes me now, have also made moves with adverts for the club in Polish. |

After 103 as the Bank, it will be difficult for fans to get used to a change of name. I expect the funds gained from such a move would help the club, but is it worth it? |

Do you agree and if so, do you think money has taken over in the division, like it has in the Premier League? And in that light, can the Imps always expect to be at the top end of the table? Cheers |

Hello everyone and thanks for joining us for the webchat today. (JR) Thanks for your question ncfcimp. Any person or organisation that is in charge of a football club having a poor season will always get lots of questions and moans. Here at Lincoln City, we firmly believe in the supporters having a voice at the top table and it's all about everyone, directors staff, players and fans working together and not everyone blaming others when things are not going well. (DB) I think the model we have at Lincoln with the fact that the club has a broad ownership works particularly well. The trust at Lincoln is the largest shareholder, but not the majority shareholder and we have stated many times that we would have no desire to own or run the club. It is a truly working partnership between the trust and the club. |

The club ran a very successful game for students during the 06/07 season with £5 entry plus a free pint with over 200 students attending. Due to changes in personell it has not been possible to arrange a follow-up event. On a gerneral note, we are constantly seeking to attract many organisations, a recent one being the scouts and the club continue to work hard in the marketing area. Of course if you have interesting ideas or initiatives please see us before a game in the Trust suite or contact us via the club. |

This will be advertised via the Echo and the club is in touch with the local Polish community leaders/groups. There will also be a flyer drop around the main areas where the Polish people live. ps.....We think our away strip is the same as Polands' away strip!!!! |

(DB) The club is investiugating the possibility of a sponsor for the stadium. No decision what so ever has been made and before it is there would be full consultation with everyone including the fans. From a personal point of view I would be against the name eg: "The Widget Fixings Stadium, " however it might be possible to consider the "Widget Fixings Sincil Stadium" and if we could get a national "Bank" involved clearly that would fit even better. One of the major issues in my view is continuity and we cannot have a name change every season or so. (JR) On a practical level everyone wants to see a winning team and the more money the club can raise the more money that goes into the playing budget. (JRDB) If the sponsorship brought in thousands of pounds and that money Jacko spent on a striker who brought us 25 goals per season and the stadium name was right, it obviously becomes a good business proposition. |

Football in gerneral does have a problem which actually stems from the Premiership and the money involved up there. In our league, it seems totally wrong that fans have to pay as we have done this season, up to £20 to watch League Two football. We are very concious of this at Lincoln and the Board and the Trust are jointly reviewing all ticket prices for next season, including payment schemes. |

Cheers (DB) Those two teams are top of the league because they have the best playing squads. It will be interesting to see how they get on in League One! Personally I believe that MK Dons, due to the community involvement, probably have a better long-term future. (JR) Just remember rich owners can leave just as quickly as they arrive! With regard to your second point, the teams promoted last year were not "money clubs." |

What progress has been made to date and how much money have you actually brought into the club in the process? (JR) The TCTH project has moved forward tremendously following the grants from EMDA via Lincolnshire Enterprise which have enabled us to employ two staff. We already have The Goal beneath the Co-Op Stadium which is used by children during school holidays and by Playing for Success after school to improve childrens' education. We have also improved the Oasis Tea Bar by adding a ceiling and heating for the bennifit of the supporters and this room is also being used by senior citizens during the afternoon. The greatest step forward has been the conversion of two sponsors' boxes into first class office accomodation from Monday to Friday and we are working extremely hard to rent them out bringing income into the football club. Anyone interested in renting the boxes should contact Paul Kenton or Blaise Thomas on 01522 845011. We continue to look at all opportunities that can enhance the local environment for the bennifit of supporters and the community. |
