Hi Steff, how have you rated the start of the season so far? Are you happy with the points return?

Hi Steff.

Might you review and decide to extend/improve Adrian Patulea's contract even at this early stage given the impact he's made already? If he continues to improve, score more goals etc. surely it might not be long before the scouts come sniffing round trying to bag themselves a bargain striker. We could have a cult figure on our hands here!

Up the Imps!

Mr Wright how much more time are you giving Jackson?

Why are some players at the club on £2,000 per week? That sort of business caused the rocky road to administration a few years ago.

Hi steff. Few questions

1) Thanks for the reduce prices on sat, it means me and my boy will be able to afford to go for a change. Would you be doing this if we had got off to a good start to the season?
2) Could u explain more about Poachers family club as I can't seem to find out anything about this?
3) Your thoughts on what is going on at Newcastle? And have you ever been tempted to interfere with 1st team affairs
4) Not really a question. I did question some of the boards decision in the past but would just like to say well done on getting a great manager in, and letting him get on with the job in hand

Thanks again Phil

Steff,

I understand the resoning behing Saturday's reduced admission and wish it well. But how about a goodwill gesture to the season ticket holders by granting them free admission to the first FA Cup home match should we have one.

I think this will show the club's appreciation to the season ticket holders.

Mr. Wright,

Can you confirm that the price of Bovril will not go up at Sincil bank this season. I fear that due to the credit crunch and increasing inflation my usual half time tipple may have to stop?

Cheers

PS Are you goining to let Julian have the chance to a return match of pool, you beat him by fluke before the Rochdale match the other season?

In all seriousness, Steff. How has the recent money problems in general affected Lincoln City. Have they taken into account that people might be staying at home to save money. Are less business keen to sponsor because of the current financial situation?

How tough is it to run a club during times like these?

Steff, have to say in a complete turn around from my view point last season, I like the way the club is being run, keep up the good work.

This is a fairly small point and boring to all but me I am sure, however something that rankles a little with me, the price of tea. Think last time I got one it was £1.50 or something in that bracket. In town I can get it for 80p and at other clubs I have paid £1. I know it is a minor thing and I am sure other clubs might charge similar but sometimes it can be symptomatic of being ripped off. Like people saying London is too expensive (which it is) and citing the price of beer most commonly to illustrate this point despite it being small change. That said a bar tried to charge me £13 for a tequila two weeks back, but that is getting off track.

Be honest Steff, were you a bit shocked when Jacko said he hadn't earned his new contract yet? I mean, it aint normal in football. But then, is Jacko your average bloke?

Mr. Wright,

Why do you pay so many stewards just to sit and text on their mobile phones (when they are not watching the match or drinking tea). Wouldn't it be a good idea in an all-seater stadium to have one or two them actually do something and ask supporters to sit down (especially in the Co-op Stand).

Hi Essex,

Of course I'm not. Peter's not happy and neither are the players. However, it is a long season, and the important thing is firstly that we turn round our situation quickly and give ourselves a good chance for promotion.

There is an extension clause in Adrian's contract. Adrian is genuinely grateful to Lincoln City for extraditing him from his contract in Romania. I think, for that reason, he is passionate about working with the club and taking us forward. I'm always pleased to see scouts looking at our players because that is the sign of having a quality squad.

Hi Mark,

A two-year extension for Peter will be signed off when we are climbing the league.

As regards to players being on £2,000 a week, that is simply not true. None of them are and although we are ambitious we continue to run the club in a financially prudent manner.

The club's far stronger financially than it was prior to us going into administration and although you can't predict success on the pitch and therefore can't accurately predict gate receipts we are strong enough to withstand the financial ups and downs of football.

Cheers,

Steff.

Hi Westside,

Totally pointless once you have been knocked out! If we were still in the competition I would say it is a fantastic opportunity for a League Two club to get to a Wembley final.

It was therefore disappointing to see us work so hard on Tuesday and not quite get over the line.

Cheers,

Steff.

Hi Phil,

1) Yes, this was planned prior to the start of the season and the fun day was an initiative created by kids from Yarborough School, Nettleham Junior and William Farr. When the fixture list came out it was decided the fun day and discounted tickets would happen for the Morecambe game. We are always looking at initiatives to attract new supporters to the club, but also have to balance that against maintaining income.

2) Please look on our website under season tickets or fans of the future section. It's a new initiative for this season to try and make it more affordable for families who wish to sit in that section of the ground.

3) A manager is employed to do his job and, as chairman and board, our job is not to interfere with that, but to support him and judge him on his results. As for Newcastle, it appeared there was a complete lack of communication between the manager, the chairman and director of football. If the chairman starts making playing decisions then, unfortunately, the only outcome is what we have seen.

4) Thanks very much, it's always nice to be complimented although it's very rare!!!! The season has not started well and it's therefore more important that people stick together and remain postive. We are all after the same goal.

Ticket prices were reduced by 50 per cent for season ticket holders on Tuesday night for the Johnstone's Paint game. There was also a reduction for the Carling Cup game at Derby for season ticket holders. We will be making a decision on the FA Cup game once the draw has taken place.

We are watching the market of Bovril very closely and can't catergorically say that international market conditions won't force the price of Bovril to climb. However, last season, the season before and this season, prices at Sincil Bank have remained stable at £1.50 a cup.

I'll see you in the pub at Rochdale for the rematch!

Hi Steff.....If things are still not going well when the January transfer window opens, is there sufficient funds to allow Peter Jackson to bring in more players?
