So then, if the word is right, Frecks and Hone are on there way. Frecks off to leeds for £650 - a million and Hone to a championship side.

Frecks does not bother me him going because i've had for a long time the impression that he thinks he's better than the rest of the team and you can tell if you watch him play. I sit in the Stacey West and last play-offs all he did was shout at the rest of the players and when they had a go at him he just shrugged. He goes on about the defence but if he did his job then it might help out the defence, but of course, everyone will have a go at me because he is a lincoln but that don't change nothing, he should show pride pulling on that lincoln shirt.

But Hone going will be a massive massive loss to us. He looks a good player now and will only get better. He plays with pride and does his job well.

Did you miss a letter out of the fee ? What the h**l, likely to be nearer the £650 I should think, and I've missed nothing, which is what Leeds will miss if they don't sign him.

Frecklington is our ace in the pack, he goes and we will get relegated. Most of the good stuff we do comes through him. I see no one more worthy of the shirt at present.
As for Hone, yes he does seem like a good player but obviously jacko has seen some weakness as he has not started for the last 3 games.

Nothing good comes from FRECKS. All he does is moan about his team mates and does very little this season. If you spend the time to watch him when he plays the you will see that other than shoot at goal when he should of layed it off. He wants all the glory but without the hard work. He always says about the fans needing to shw support and get behind the team but the fans are always there and always get behind the team. I've been there now for 20 years now and it's getting hard to get behind the team when they are so poor.

One last thing, the two johns always got moaned at for not changing the team when we was not winning and throwing games away, well MR JACKSON Ben Smith has cost us games and is not fit to take MAZZERS shirt. The first game i saw him play he was dropping everything, yes he does make a few good saves in a game but MAZZER does the same, only better. Mazzer has stood by the IMPS over the years and he should be showed some respect by the fans. As i have said before you all shout for YEO when he plays at the bank and he is the worst of the worst. Cannot wait to get MAZZER back where he belongs

I have never commented on this site, just a reader really. However after reading your comments on Freck i had to say something. you must be at a different football club, he has every attribute to make it at a high level. you say you watch he closly every week, so do i. I can see he has more qulity and ability then every other player on then pitch. his first touch is awesome, his vision is fantastic and his all round play is incredible. without him we would be in the bottom two by now and if he does go then get ready for the confrence because thats the only place we are heading without Freck in our team. he has this incredible gift of holding on to the ball and turning whenever he likes and passing the ball, 5 yards or 50 yards.
i do agree with hone though he is looking good, and also mazza should be back in between the stings. one player im not sure about yet is John Lewis, puts in alot of effort and i like the lad but not good enough yet for a first team spot for me anyway.

It is really starting to get annoying now everyone calling for mazza to come back...he has been consistantly poor for the past 2 if not 3 seasons but has not been dropped because we have had no 1 2 take his place. In smith we have a very good shot stopper and keeper who commands his area and controls from the back...did no 1 see the save at grimsby that kept us at 0-0 or the countless saves against barnet..also smith was at no fault for the goal against bury it was a free header so keep the faith jacko mazza deserves his place on the bench

Do you watch FERCKS then cos' all he does all game is huff and puff and little else. He thinks he is lincoln and no player is bigger than the club. When FRECKS has the ball and it should be layed off he always shoots and most of the time misses. He was a good play i just think he thinks he is better than the rest. Impforlife said with out him we would be in the bottom two. Well we have him and we are not much higher than the bottom two and with him we was rock bottom so one man don't make a team. Ask for MAZZER, he should be the number one cos, Ben Smith made a good save at Grimsby, So what, MAZZER has done it for us week in and week out. And you all still have ago at the man. Best in the league he is and at the moment we risk him going and that would be grave grave mistake.

I think this season freck has not had half as many shots, if anything he never shoots and if you can tell me a better player in our team i will say sorry but you wont, and if you can find a better CM in our league be my guest?

I'm not saying FRECKS is not a good play, the trouble is HE thinks he is a good player and you can tell that if you watch him play. He plays for himself and not the team, he always moans on about the defence but if he was doing his job better then maybe he could stop some of those balls getting through. I no i'm not going to win this one cos' he is a local lad and everyone says you should not have a go at him bnecause he is a local lad but he is not the player that he was.

I'd rate Frecklington as a better than average League 2 midfielder who would look and play better in a more successful team. He's got potential but no way can I see us getting anything like the figures quoted in the first post of this thread, if we do get offered that much we should snap it up quick before they change their minds. As for Marriott, he's a perfectly reasonable League 2 'keeper, but not, in my view, ever likely to figure regurlarly at a higher level. He's been here so long that some have nothing to compare him with except Ben Smith, but for me David Felgate set the standard, and no-one else since, including Mazza, has come anywhere near it.
