With only 2 games remaining we can now see the finishing line.A long trip away at Morecambe followed by Wrexham at home means that another season will soon be over.Since Xmas the games really have come and gone very quickly.Our recent form has been good.Back to back wins is always nice and it never comes at a bad time and if we can be unbeaten until the end then that will be a very good finish.The 2 teams with the most resources, MK Dons and Peterboro have been promoted so maybe there will be a more level playing field in league 2 next season.Although money is no guarantee of success it certainly helps.Looking at both recent matches against MK and Peterboro showed us the level we want to achieve although I wouldn't be surprised to see one or both of those teams go straight up to the championship at the first time of asking.
Saturday brought yet another full debut,this time for Gary King.He certainly has a great deal of potential and next year will be a big season for him as it will for all of the other young lads who have forced their way into the first team squad.His goal ,although somewhat fortunate, will give him the confidence any young player needs and I am sure that he will score many more for Lincoln City.
